Les Miserables the Gospel

Les Miserables
“Do you hear the people sing”?
In this present day the majority of people  have no understanding of the Gospel or that  the true meaning of  the Cross, that it is not a thing to be seen negatively which stops people enjoying life and having fun,  real fun.
The fun that most people look at as being fun is taking drugs, getting drunk to infinity, they are indeed slaves to what other people think, they are slaves to what they think  “everyone”!!!! else is doing.
The lyrics talk about freedom and not being slaves again, well  that would be true if we turned to the Cross and Jesus Christ.
If you are not on the side of Jesus Christ then you are a slave, because true freedom only comes from knowing he is in control. Anyone who refuses that offer has a life of bondage to something.
Searching for something to fill that space, which is there for your spirit to be fed by the Holy Spirit.
True freedom is freedom from bondage to the world’s system.
The view people have of God is the one presented in this musical in a lot of places, BUT things are not always as they seem, there is mercy and justice if you focus on the gift of love, true love that was shown by Jesus Death on the cross. The biggest battle ever was won the day that he died, winning the potential to give every human being on the earth real, honest freedom, not the metaphorical chains and handcuffs that are labeled FUN???!!!
Living independently of God, is what has got this world into such a mess, and sometimes the our own idea of what constitutes God has enlarged that mess.
I sometimes hear tears of God crying over the pain and suffering that Humans do to each other, and the way our freewill has been used in some of the worst ways imaginable, and sometimes we cannot imagine what is done.
The nicest, kindest people, who by their own conscience have measured their goodness in light of those who have done the worst,  still need Jesus, as much as those who have done the worst.
But it is not a case of measuring up in our own ability, it is more a willingness to walk with Jesus, committed to him, allowing him to deal with you as an individual and allowing him to helping you to serve him.
Being a bond servant to Jesus brings real freedom, Love and Joy, while being a bond servant to the world  is pain heartache and eventual destruction.
The western world thinks it is freer than other parts of the world on the ground, but in living life and choices made so many are not free.

But the opportunity is there to find the freedom, real freedom that only exists in the relationship with our creator GOD, who is my father in heaven and whom I love with all my heart and walk with every day.
